In Champagne, a new art of living takes shape, where luxury is rediscovered as effortless and joyful, not ostentatious but intimate, everyday, personal. Champagne Jacquart embodies this spirit with a collection of luminous and dynamic cuvées, designed to accompany life’s small moments with lightness and elegance. It is a modern vision of Champagne, able to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
The Jacquart Maison was founded in 1964 from the visionary union of 35 vignerons from every corner of the region, with a simple and revolutionary idea: to merge talents, crus and savoir-faire into a single collective energy. From this philosophy comes the concept of Mosaïque: a mosaic of terroirs, souls and interpretations that today covers 300 hectares across more than 60 crus. Here, Champagnes are born to be shared, spontaneous, free from solemn occasions, ready to celebrate the beauty of the moment.
Led by oenologist Joëlle Weiss, one of the brightest personalities in Champagne, Jacquart offers a direct, linear style. At the heart of the production philosophy, Chardonnay reigns supreme: it expresses aromatic freshness, finesse and great ageing potential. Vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel to preserve the varietal identity and that of each individual parcel, ensuring a style that favours freshness, brilliance and verticality, with a natural balance between creaminess and tension. “All our cuvées,” says Joëlle Weiss, “are a joyful expression of Champagne, united by the same luminosity, by a lively temperament and by a freshness that leaves a lasting impression on the finish.”
Mosaic of terroirs, mosaic of emotions The Jacquart vineyard extends across all the main areas of Champagne, and it is precisely this diversity that constitutes the strength of the Maison. Each vintage and each blend represent an exploration of possible nuances, with the assurance of consistent quality guaranteed by the breadth of the mosaic. At the same time, the Maison has embarked on a concrete path of sustainability: no insecticides and a clear goal – to obtain ISO 14001 certification for all production sites and vineyards. In 2024, Jacquart celebrated its 60th anniversary, and it does so with the same light and inclusive spirit of its origins. Today, more than 300 winegrowing families are involved in the project, all united by a common vision: to create Champagnes with a contemporary, luminous and joyful style. In a world where luxury is increasingly measured in authentic emotions and freedom, Jacquart chooses to remain true to its identity: a wine for those who know how to appreciate simple gestures and the unexpected happiness of an impromptu toast.
Triple 1: the exception that proves the rule In this collective universe made of blends and harmonies, there is also room for love at first sight. This is how the “Triple 1” collection was born, composed of hors catégorie cuvées created from 1 single cru, 1 single grape variety and 1 single vintage. These are limited-edition wines, conceived as educational experiments and personal passions of the oenologist – Champagnes that tell a precise and unrepeatable inspiration. “When we fall in love with something,” explains Joëlle, “we produce about three thousand mono-cru bottles to explore that identity in depth.”
Aÿ Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru 2018 btg 243/3000 Cuvée “Coup de Cœur” – Mono-Cru, Mono-Cépage Exclusively crafted from Pinot Noir, this Blanc de Noirs comes from the Grand Cru village of Aÿ, vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with malolactic fermentation. The tirage took place at “petite mousse” to achieve a creamy and delicate effervescence. Aged for 5 years on the lees and with a dosage of 6.5 g/l after disgorgement. It is the fruit of the 2018 harvest, luminous, consistent and perfectly ripe. Refined and complex, it represents the third chapter of the “Coup de Cœur” collection signed Jacquart: a series of exceptional cuvées that narrate the identity of a terroir through a single vintage and a single grape variety. Joëlle Weiss, the Maison’s oenologist, defines it as an “addictive champagne”, capable of evoking summer with power and succulence, yet always with the lightness and precision that characterize the Jacquart style. The expression of Aÿ Pinot Noir here finds a brilliant form, with an elegant character between ripe fruits and pastry notes.
On the olfactory side, it reveals a concentrated and vibrant bouquet, with fruity notes of mirabelle plum, apple, pear and raspberry jam, accompanied by citrus nuances and hints of orange blossom. Nuances of star anise and delicate pastry expressions emerge, evoking madeleine, between memory and aromatic precision. On the palate, it shows a fine structure that combines roundness and finesse. The effervescence is creamy, with a fresh and enveloping sip. The finish stretches on a lovely acidity and broad persistence, reaffirming the fruity personality and gastronomic vocation of the cuvée. A Champagne of character, elegant and profound, in limited and numbered edition: a true love at first sight.
Villers-Marmery 2016, Blanc de Blancs btg 820/3400 100% Chardonnay, vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with malolactic fermentation. The tirage took place at “petite mousse”. Aged for 5 years on the lees and with a dosage of 7.5 g/l after disgorgement. The 2016 vintage came with a cold and rainy spring followed by a warm summer, which resulted in small and concentrated berries. With 60 crus to choose from, the Villers-Marmery area was selected, well exposed to the cold and with lower temperatures compared to other zones. This Chardonnay offers extraordinary freshness. An exceptional exercise in style, masterfully illustrating the elegance and precision of the great Chardonnays of Champagne.
On the nose, a complex and seductive bouquet, aromas of brioche and biscuit blend with fresher notes of candied citrus and green apple. A subtle touch of fresh almond and white flowers intertwines in harmony, creating an elegant and inviting profile. On the palate, the wine plays on a fascinating contrast: a generous texture, balanced by a marked salinity that brings dynamism and tension. The balance between richness and freshness is masterful, delivering a refined and intense sensory experience. The finish, long and pure, extends over mineral notes and a citrus touch, confirming the timeless classic character of this cuvée.
Chouilly Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut 2014 100% Chardonnay. Vinification in stainless steel with partial malolactic fermentation. Aged for 4 years on the lees and with a dosage of 7.5 g/l after disgorgement. This is the first in Jacquart’s new collection. A true tribute to the exceptional terroir of Chouilly, a village of the Côte des Blancs, with a wine that expresses elegance and minerality. The 2014 vintage surprised for its quality of balance. It is considered a “classic” vintage for those who love fresh, citrusy and elegant Champagnes.
On the olfactory side, extraordinary precision and purity are perceived, with notes of lime zest and samphire, enriched by a subtle iodized hint. In the background, floral nuances and a chalky minerality elegantly enrich the bouquet. On the palate, the wine shines with vibrancy. A well-defined mineral texture structures the tasting, while the finesse of the effervescence accompanies precise aromas of crisp white fruits and citrus. The texture, both silky and tense, reflects the perfect handling of this sunny vintage. The finish, long and chiselled, unfolds on saline and citrus notes: the signature of a great wine, perfectly anchored to its terroir.
Oenothèque 2012 Magnum 60 Ans - Milésime 2012 - 02 copia.png581.21 KBA blend of 60% Pinot Noir from Aÿ, Verzenay, Verzy and Avenay Val d’Or and 40% Chardonnay from Avize, Vertus and Le Mesnil sur Oger. Vinification in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation. Aged for 10 years on the lees and with a dosage of 5 g/l after disgorgement.
On the olfactory side, it is complex and elegant, opening with fine notes of ripe citrus, butter and rose petals, with shades of yeast and dried fruit. Nuances of aromatic herbs and spicy hints emerge, between white pepper and liquorice, enriching an expressive and delicately aromatic bouquet. On the palate, the entry is broad and enveloping, with a creamy texture supported by a fine and silky bead. The mid-palate develops on citrus aromas, liquorice and spices, with a subtle vegetal component. The freshness of the Chardonnay perfectly balances the strength of the Pinot Noir, leading to a long and harmonious finish, marked by saline and chalky minerality, and a refined persistence.
